| I got my MB1 last week and the weld on the exhaust just before the tune was basically non existent. I only noticed this because oil was dripping quite heavily into the base plate. first I thought it was from where the gasket was between the two parts, then i realized it was coming from both that and the huge gap in the weld. i took off the exhaust and found that the gasket had moved its way into the inside of the exhaust. every time i run the car it shoots the gasket into there. i J-B welded where there should of been tack i guess, it looks like it'll hold for a bit. Any idea's on how to keep that gasket in place? i've tried flipping how it sits in there and tried making it as tight as possible but that only seems to make it come out faster. any help would be great, thanks guys. |
