Hey.
We have bought an unused secondhand buggy and after the runn-in period we have had a lot of fun with it, until the 3e tank. It stopped and after taking the rear diff. apart we have found that there is no greas of any kind inside. All small parts where melted in the diff.housing.
Now when one buys something secondhand unused, I know that the warranty will be difficult. so I won't complain about that.
But when trying to order some of the parts a different problem came out. The VTX-85736-diff.bevel gearset contains two big gearwheels, two axes and two small gearwheels. You will need 4 small geerwheels on two axes??? Price here in holland is 12 euro's per set. And you would have to buy two complete sets (double) to make one diff. usable again.
On this site the set is complete?!(6 wheels), but the dealer in holland only delivers incomplete sets.
Why is that? Why should that be so expensive (24 euro's/36 dollar), next to the fact that our new car is damaged after the 3e tank racing?
Is it often seen that there is no grease in the diff.case?
